SIDMA College Sabah collaborated with Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) Sabah and conducted a Road Safety Advocacy talk at SIDMA College Sabah Atrium on 12 June 2018. The event which was coordinated by Mohd Fikri, President of SIDMA’s Student Representative Council (MPM) and his team of  MPM members, was aimed to instil road safety awareness among the students of the college, particularly to the Semester June 2018 newly registered students. It was also held in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Festival which falls on 15 June 2018, as students will travel to their respective hometowns to celebrate the occasion with their family and friends.

Miss Nur Hajma from JPJ during her talk emphasised that during festivities, such as the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, there will be more vehicles on the roads, and the likelihood of accidents to occur is also very great. Thus she reminded students, and the general public to travel safely in order to reach their destinations safely; as festival are when families look forward to being with their loved ones and together, celebrate the happy occasion.

SIDMA College UNITAR Sabah, through the collaboration of its Academic and Human Resource Department recently organised a colloquium as a platform for SIDMA’s Early Childhood Education (ECE) lecturers to discuss issues and developments related to ECE at SIDMA College Conference Room on 4 and 5 June 2018.

Dr Morni Hj Kambrie (SIDMA Chairman and Founder) and Madam Azizah Khalid Merican (CEO) offered this special programme to all the ECE lecturers as part of the college effort in uplifting the college’s and the country’s education standard in line the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025. A total of 21 SIDMA College UNITAR Sabah ECE lecturers participated in the programme.

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) also known as PIBG and Islamic Education Committee of SMK Perempuan, Likas, in collaboration with SIDMA College Sabah collectively held an Iftar Dinner “Iftar Ramadan Bersama SIDMA College” in conjunction with the retirement of Madam Hajah Norulashikin Mohd Taib, Principal of SMK Perempuan Likas, Kota Kinabalu.

The event which was held at Dataran Srikandi, SMK Perempuan, Likas on 23 May 2018 was attended by more than 300 people consisted of SMK Perempuan Likas PIBG Central Committee, students’ parents, School Principal and the management committee, SMK Perempuan Islamic Education Committee,  teachers and staff as well as Dr Morni Hj Kambrie (Chairman and Founder of SIDMA College), SIDMA Board of Management and staff and local Likas community.

Earlier in the evening, the Form III and Form V students that attended the dinner also performed a Solat Hajat, to seek God gracing and forgiveness for them to sit for the coming PT 3 and SPM examination with confidence and success.
